This was reported by the acting director of the Odesa National Art Museum, Katerina Kulay, in an interview with KYIV24.
“There is not a single hall in the museum that has not experienced some form of damage. Since February 24, 2022, the main exhibition has not been on display in the museum. We have five temporary exhibitions, but even among those exhibitions from private collections and artists, there has been no damage”, she said.
“The main collection of the museum is in a safe place, so we can say that the main museum collection has not been affected”, she explained.
As a reminder, as a result of the night Russian attack on Odesa, 8 local residents were injured, 32 residential buildings were damaged, and operational headquarters continue to assess the extent of the damage.
