Russians are changing tactics to wear down the Ukrainian air defense system

According to Natalia Humenyuk, the spokesperson for the Defense Forces in southern Ukraine, in recent weeks, there has been an increase in enemy aircraft activity and frequent air alarms associated with this.

Humenyuk noted that this is an element of psychological pressure on the Ukrainian population.

“They are trying to use different tactics – testing and exhausting our air defense system, trying to find a way to bypass it”, said Humenyuk.

She also emphasized that the Russians are changing tactics because they do not have a large stock of missiles.

“They are using what they already have. They are conserving their high-precision weapons and using others, which helps them test and verify where exactly the air defense system is”, added the spokesperson.
