Russians damaged port infrastructure in Odesa region with strike drones

This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleg Kiper, and the Southern Defense Forces.

According to Kiper, air defense forces managed to shoot down 10 “Shahed” drones over Odesa, but there were still impacts.

“In the Izmail district, damage to port infrastructure and residential buildings was recorded. Fires occurred on-site, and they have already been extinguished”, he said.

Additionally, a woman born in 1935 was injured as a result of the attack. She suffered thermal burns and is currently in the hospital.

The Southern Defense Forces clarified that the impacts damaged warehouse buildings in the port area, as well as private residences of civilian residents. It’s worth noting that during the overnight Russian attack on the night of October 12, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 28 out of 33 enemy aerial targets.
