Russians struck the city of Vovchansk, civilians wounded

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, on social media.

Around midnight, the enemy launched a rocket strike on the urban-type settlement of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi in the Kupiansk district. Hits on the ground were confirmed. Surrounding shops were damaged, but no casualties were reported.

Over the past day, the enemy used artillery, mortars, rockets, and other weaponry to shell populated areas in the Chuhuiv, Izyum, and Kupiansk districts. As a result of the shelling of the city of Vovchansk in the Chuhuiv district, a building used for children and youth activities and four residential buildings were damaged.

Two men aged 57 and 69 were injured. In the village of Pidlyman in the Izyum district, an enemy rocket hit the territory of a private yard, damaging a shed and the roof of a house. Due to shelling with the “Uragan” MLRS, in the village of Pisky-Radkivski in the Izyum district, two private houses and outbuildings were damaged.

In Kharkiv, a 42-year-old civilian collecting scrap materials in the city stepped on an unidentified explosive object and sustained injuries. He has been hospitalized and is in moderate condition. According to Syniehubov, within the day, pyrotechnicians from the State Emergency Service inspected over 12 hectares of territory and neutralized 95 explosive objects.

On the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 30 enemy attacks in the areas of Synkivka and Ivanivka. The occupiers suffered losses and made no progress, as reported by the head of the Regional State Administration.

Recall that on the night of October 20, Russian forces also launched missile strikes on the city of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region and the town of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi in Kharkiv region. They shelled Kherson and Berislav with artillery, and in the morning, Berislav was subjected to an airstrike, resulting in one fatality.
