SSU has determined who guided the Russian missile to the funeral in the village of Groza, resulting in the deaths of over 50 civilians

This was reported by the SSU press service.

The culprits were revealed to be two local residents: 30-year-old Volodymyr Mamon and his younger brother, 23-year-old Dmytro Mamon, who switched sides to the Russian invaders during the region’s occupation.

In return, the culprits received positions in the ranks of the occupational “Internal Affairs Administration of the Military-Civil Administration of the Kharkiv Region”. One of them was appointed as a “convoy group driver”, and the other as a “road patrol service inspector”.

It is known that on the eve of the region’s liberation, both traitors fled to the Russian Federation with their families, where they continued to work in favor of the aggressor country. Later, they began remotely forming their own network of informants in the territory under Ukraine’s control.

Under the guise of friendly conversations and messaging, the traitors extracted information from people about the location of Ukrainian defense forces and mass events in the region. Starting from the beginning of October this year, both culprits began gathering information about the planned reburial of a fallen Ukrainian defender in the village of Groza.

In doing so, they understood that as a result of the attack, peaceful residents, including those who provided them with information, would inevitably perish.

Having learned the exact address and timing of the peaceful event, Mamon passed this information to the Russian occupiers. The received information was used by the aggressors to carry out a targeted strike using the operational-tactical missile complex “Iskander-M”.

Based on the collected evidence, both culprits have been officially charged with state treason. Furthermore, the criminal actions of Volodymyr Mamon have been additionally classified as aiding and abetting in the commission of a crime by accomplices, committing a crime by prior conspiracy of a group of individuals, and violations of laws and customs of war. It is worth noting that as a result of the missile attack on the village of Groza on October 5th, 53 civilians were killed, including a minor.
