The authorities of Irpin have already received 700 proposals for streets name changes

This was reported by Yevgenia Antonyuk, a member of the Irpin City Council.

It is noted that the issue of naming streets after our fallen heroes was hotly debated.

“We are looking for the right way out of this situation in order to honor the memory of the fallen defenders and volunteers of Irpin and not offend anyone, because there are already more of them than streets to be renamed.”

The deadline for submitting proposals for streets name changes lasts until August 20 inclusive.
