Ksenia Semenova, a member of the Kyiv City Council, reported this.
According to her, the transport commission of the Kyiv City Council supported the petition to cancel the decision to stop public transport during the air raid sirens and handed it over to the city’s mayor for consideration.
“Aleksandr Grechko very impressively began his report on the petition regarding the cancellation of the stupid decision to stop traffic during air raids. He asked who came to the meeting by public transport. No one! No one except Oleksandr. Well, that’s clear. With its decision, the Kyiv City State Administration killed public transport. It was a weak point of Kyiv even before that. And now everything is sad. The City Security Council, without having any objective data and analytics, wants to remove responsibility for people’s deaths with such a decision,” Semenova said.
In the future, this decision should be considered by the Mayor.
