The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine responded to Viktor Orban’s statement that Ukraine cannot defeat Russia

As reported by Magyar Nemzet, Orban considers the return of Crimea to Ukraine unrealistic and urges not to provide military support to Ukraine in order to end the war.

“We must negotiate with the Russians about a new security architecture that will ensure security and sovereignty for Ukraine, but not NATO membership”, he stated.

A representative of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded that there was “growing concern” in the department because Orban has not been advocating for the cessation of support to Ukraine for a long time.

“We don’t know how things are in Hungary, but Ukraine does not trade its territories or its sovereignty. And the world will not trade either. And the Russian leadership, no matter how many public advocates it enlists, will inevitably be held responsible for all the harm inflicted on Ukrainians”, the statement reads.
