The Russians launched a missile strike on a village in Kharkiv region, and almost all the residents of the village lost their loved ones

This was reported on KYIV24 by Sergiy Zhukov, a deputy of the Kharkiv Regional Council.

Groza is a rearward village located 30 kilometers from Kupyansk and over 50 kilometers from the front line. As of yesterday, 330 people lived here. Almost all of the 51 people who perished were residents of this village. Nearly every villager lost a family member or acquaintance.

On the afternoon of September 5th, the Russians shelled the village of Groza in Kharkiv region. They may have used the “Iskander” ballistic missile for the attack.

The head of the regional military administration, Oleg Sinyegubov, also confirmed that the strike occurred during a memorial dinner organized in the village in honor of a fallen soldier. He stated that all the casualties were villagers.

It is known that the cafe, which was bombed by the Russians, was hosting a memorial service for a deceased fellow villager. At the time of the strike, there were about 60 people in the establishment.

The accuracy of the strike was very precise. Law enforcement suspects that someone from the local residents may have guided the attack.

In the evening of the same day, rescue workers finished clearing the debris of a local cafe and store in the village of Groza, Kharkiv region. They were only able to identify 35 of the deceased individuals. The rest of the bodies were transported to the morgue, and DNA analysis will be needed for identification.
