Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba made this statement during a press conference with the head of the OSCE and Albanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bujar Osmani.
Kuleba asserted that Moscow has effectively taken the OSCE hostage by manipulating the consensus principle, thereby destabilizing the organization from within. According to Kuleba, the aggressor country is currently attempting to sow chaos and destabilization. The head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that Russia is the biggest threat to cooperation and security in Europe.
He noted that to save the OSCE, preserve security and cooperation in Europe, it is necessary to show Russia the door, both from the OSCE and from Europe.
Kuleba argued that everything Russia is doing within the OSCE is causing harm to the organization. The situation within the OSCE is very complex and painful, but the choice is very simple: it’s either a slow death with Russia or a new life without it.
It’s worth mentioning that today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia and the head of the OSCE, Bujar Osmani, visited Kyiv.
