Twelve vessels carrying agricultural exports leave Ukrainian ports over two days

This is reported with reference to the press service of the Infrastructure Ministry.

“In the past two days, 12 ships with 400,000 tonnes of agricultural products left the ports of Great Odesa for countries in Africa, Asia, and Europe. Among them are the StavroS and Cevihan bulkers, which will deliver 55,000 tonnes of Ukrainian wheat to Oman. Also, 55,000 tonnes are going to Yemen, whose inhabitants are on the verge of famine. The East Wind 1 bulker took 25,000 tonnes of grain to Libya,” the statement reads.

It is noted that in two days, the ports of Great Odesa accepted for loading eight ships with a total cargo capacity of 200,000 tonnes. Currently, six vessels are moving along the Grain Corridor toward Ukraine’s coast to load 317,000 tonnes of agricultural exports.

In total, since September-start, 456 ships left the ports of Great Odesa, exporting 10.7 million tonnes of Ukrainian food products to the countries of Asia, Europe, and Africa.

As reported earlier, Ukraine seeks to expand the agreement on exports through the Black Sea Grain Initiative, including involving more ports and goods.
