“As of December 12, 2022, inspection of almost 26,550 (95%) educational institutions was conducted. Approximately 68% of them have bomb shelters and provide face-to-face education,” Shkarlet wrote.
In particular, bomb shelters have been organized in 56.1% of kindergartens, 74.7% of schools, and 94.78% of vocational and technical education institutions. Vocational pre-higher education establishments and 87.8% of higher education institutions also have bomb shelters.
According to the minister, territorial communities and founders of educational institutions continue to set up bomb shelters so that as many pupils and students as possible have the opportunity to study in a traditional format.
As reported, Ruslan Hurak, Head of the State Service for Education Quality of Ukraine, on December 8 said that almost 75% of pupils in Ukraine study online.
