Ukraine and Denmark are negotiating accession to security guarantees

This was reported by the press service of the Office of the President.

The Ukrainian delegation at the negotiations on “security guarantees” was led by Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Igor Zhovkva, and Denmark was represented by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country Lisbeth Zilmer-Johns.

It is noted that the parties discussed “the key elements of future bilateral security commitments and agreed on the schedule for further negotiations”.

“Denmark’s security commitments confirm its unwavering and powerful support, including military assistance, which it has been providing to Ukraine since the beginning of Russian aggression”, the Office of the President is convinced.

As it is known, Kyiv is approaching the conclusion of agreements on “security guarantees” with Germany and France, and has already signed it with the United Kingdom in January 2024.
