Ukraine and Russia have conducted a prisoner exchange. Another 130 Ukrainians have been returned home

This was announced on Telegram by the Head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak.

“A great Easter prisoner exchange. We are returning 130 of our people. It took place over the last few days in several stages”, wrote Yermak.

According to him, Ukrainian privates and sergeants who were captured in the areas of Bakhmut, Selydove, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson are being returned home.

As Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Malyar noted, as of February 24th, 2022, Ukraine was able to successfully return 2235 individuals from Russian captivity.
