Ukraine asks Australia for more Bushmaster armored vehicles

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy announced this on Twitter after meeting with his Australian counterpart Penny Wong on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.

“Met with Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong in New York to thank her for Australia’s unwavering support. We discussed further military aid to Ukraine. I requested to consider sending us more Bushmasters, given the important role they play in countering Russian aggression,” Kuleba wrote.

As reported, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, is on a working visit to the USA to participate in the general debate of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.

In May, Ukraine received from Australia 14 M11 tracked armored personnel carriers and 20 Bushmaster armored vehicles.
