The major export item was corn as 1.6 million tonnes were exported which is almost twice as much as in the first two weeks of November. Wheat export for the first 18 days of December totaled 815,000 tonnes and remained almost unchanged compared to November.
In December, Ukraine also exported 303,000 tonnes of sunflower oil, which is 4,000 tonnes less than in the first 15 days of November. At the same time, the export of sunflower seeds reached 230,000 tonnes (an increase of 44,000 tonnes).
The overall export structure for December 1-18 is the following: corn – 43.3%, wheat – 22.71%, sunflower oil – 8.44%, soybeans – 6.63%, rapeseed – 6.48%, sunflower seeds – 6.41%, meal – 4.07%, barley – 2.73%, soybean oil – 0.28%.
During the specified period, Ukraine exported 2.5 million tonnes of products through sea and river ports, 706,600 tonnes by rail, 357,900 tonnes by road transport, and 25,000 tonnes by ferry.
In total, for 9.5 months of the full-scale war, 35.8 million tonnes of agricultural products, including 13.9 million tonnes of corn and 7.8 million tonnes of wheat, were exported from Ukraine.
