This was announced by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.
“The Rada (parliament) approved the imposition of sanctions against Iran for 50 years”, Honcharenko informed.
According to him, 328 members of parliament voted for bill No. 9333 during the plenary session of the Ukrainian parliament.
As was was stated by a member of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence, and the President’s representative to the Verkhovna Rada, Fedir Venislavskyi, these sanctions would not have a “critical” impact on Iran, but they could lead to unforeseen consequences for the current regime leading the Iranian Republic.
