“The military-industrial complex in overly closed Russia is a very difficult case to study. A lot of work has been done, and I am grateful to everyone involved… Thanks to their work, today we have a package of more than 3,000 individuals and legal entities of the military industry of the terrorist state and suppliers of the Russian army, as well as the military leadership of the terrorist state. In fact, more than 3,000 people were directly involved in the murder of Ukrainians. And the work does not stop – the preparation of another package regarding the Russian military-industrial complex is underway,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
According to the report, Ukraine continues to work on strengthening the sanctions pressure on the terrorist state. The next large package of sanctions, which includes individuals from the Russian military leadership, enterprises and institutions of the military industry, and companies and individuals connected with the supply of the Russian military industry, was recommended for consideration by Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council.
The sanctions will enter into force after consideration and approval by the National Security and Defense Council and the implementation of the NSDC decision by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
