Ukraine’s aviation launches 14 strikes on enemy clusters

As noted, the enemy tries to hold the temporarily captured territories, focuses its efforts on restraining the actions of the Defense Forces in certain directions, while continuing offensive operations in Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions.

The situation in Volyn and Polissia directions remains unchanged. There is still a threat of missile strikes and airstrikes, including the use of combat UAVs.

In Slobozhansky direction, artillery was fired from the territory of the Russian Federation on the areas of Chukhunivka, Strilecha, Dvorichna, Kamyanka, Krasne, Starytsia settlements. In Kupyansk direction, tanks, mortars, tube and rocket artillery were fired in the areas of Berestove, Kyslivka, Fiholivka settlements. In Lyman direction, tanks and artillery were fired in the areas of Makiivka, Terny, Torske, Yampolivka, Spirne, Nevske, and Zarichne. In Bakhmut direction, tanks, mortars, tube and rocket artillery were fired in the areas of Andriivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Kramatorsk, Soledar, and Yakovlivka settlements. In Avdiivka direction, the enemy opened fire from mortars, tube and rocket artillery in the areas of Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, and Pervomaiske. In Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia directions, the enemy opened artillery fire in the areas of Bilohirya, Vremivka, Zaliznychne, Novopol, Novosilka, Olkhivske, and Orikhivske.

The General Staff notes that the Russian troops which take direct part in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine have logistics problems. Thus, according to available information, the lack of warm clothing led to an increasing number of cases of theft and looting by servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region.

Also, the mobilized servicemen who arrived in the region to perform combat missions did not undergo appropriate training and lack practical skills in the use of basic types of weapons. This results in significant enemy manpower losses.

The General Staff confirms the destruction of two enemy ammunition depots and a pontoon crossing with military equipment in Kherson region in recent days.

Ukraine’s aviation has launched 14 strikes on the enemy manpower, weapons and military equipment clusters during the day. The air defense units shot down an enemy helicopter and an aircraft. According to preliminary information, a Ka-52 helicopter and a Su-25 attack aircraft were downed.
