Ukrainian Armed Forces do not rule out aviation attacks from Belarus

This was stated by the spokesperson of the Ukrainian Air Force during a telethon, Illya Yevlash.

“We have already seen how the so-called Belarusian president provided territory for the Russian military advance at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Of course, we do not rule out the use of aviation from their territory”, he said.

According to Yevlash, the threat from Belarus exists because Russian aviation can move over long distances in a relatively short time and conducts exercises on Belarusian territory.

However, he added that the Air Force is prepared for various developments.

“We monitor the movement of aircraft, their takeoffs, and use our reconnaissance and partners”, emphasized the Air Force spokesperson.

Recall that yesterday, in the Gomel region of Belarus, the start of comprehensive territorial defense training was announced, which will last from April 2 to 4. Also, by the end of April, a training gathering with conscripts of territorial troops will take place in the Minsk region.

Since last month, Belarus has been conducting checks of the combat readiness of the armed forces. It is reported that “Wagnerians” who have remained in the country are participating in the exercises.
