Ukrainian volunteers are developing a rocket with a range of 140 km

This is reported by “Militarny”.

The developers plan to create a small guided missile with a pulsating air-reactive engine. The weapon will be able to hit targets and weaken enemy air defense forces.

Volunteers want to set up production of individual missile parts and components throughout Ukraine using garage workshops for their activities.

“Our simple missile is incomparably cheaper than enemy anti-aircraft missile complex shots”, say the developers.

The “Trembita” missile will reach targets at a distance of 140 kilometers. The developers assure that this weapon is much cheaper than enemy anti-aircraft missile complex shots. A salvo launch of 20 missiles will allow for the exhaustion of enemy air defense and hitting targets at long distances. The designers have noted that the Russians will not be able to destroy this comprehensive “People’s Defense Industry” with their rusty S-300s or high-precision “Calibers”.

Characteristics of the “Trembita”:

  • Loaded weight: 100 kilograms;
  • Weight of the combat unit: 20 kilograms;
  • Range of destruction: over 140 kilometers;
  • Speed: over 400 kilometers per hour;
  • Maximum flight altitude: 2,000 meters;
  • Minimum flight altitude: 30 meters;
  • Engine: 30 liters.

The missile’s engine has no moving parts, is easy to manufacture, and runs on gasoline. Launches will be carried out using pneumatic catapults. The combat unit can have a thermobaric charge and a combined charge of fragmentary and high-explosive action of up to 20 kg.
