“Ukrzaliznytsia” has launched a mobile application for buying tickets online

JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” has launched a mobile application in which you can buy tickets for all long-distance trains in Ukraine. This was reported by the company’s press service.

“Ukrzaliznytsia, in partnership with Mastercard has announced the launch of its own mobile application for ticket sales and passenger information,” the message reads.

It is noted that the testing of the new application was carried out in July, and now it is already available to all users on the AppStore and Google Play Market. Passengers will now be able to purchase tickets for all long-distance trains across Ukraine using their phone; return tickets; receive notifications about the flight and train arrival/departure track.

“Ukrzaliznytsia is a direct seller of tickets through the application, and therefore the cost of tickets for passengers will be as profitable as possible – there are no additional commissions when paying. Passengers will be able to pay for tickets directly in the mobile application with a digital card using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or you can enter bank card details and save them in the payment application,” the company said.

In addition, UZ plans to develop a new website, a single portal of onboard services, as well as develop online ordering of regular railway services: the car carriage, services of station porters, search for lost items, lounge bookings, etc.
