What the Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Slovakia agreed upon. Results of the meeting

This was reported by Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal himself.

According to him, during the negotiations, officials reached agreements on several issues:

• The government of Slovakia will not block Ukraine’s purchase of weapons and equipment from Slovak businesses.
• Collaboration on the delivery of technology from a Slovak company for the construction of defensive lines.
• Slovakia will support the Ukraine Facility program, which involves allocating 50 billion euros to Ukraine from the European Union.
• Prime Minister Fico assured of full support for Ukraine’s Eurointegration aspirations.

The parties also noted Slovakia’s firm and consistent support for Ukraine’s European integration. They expressed support for President Volodymyr Zelensky’s Peace Formula.

Following the meeting with Fico, Shmyhal signed a joint statement that will strengthen bilateral relations based on mutual trust and respect.

In particular, with this statement, they:

• Confirmed readiness for further cooperation aimed at respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders.
• Highlighted Slovakia’s firm and consistent support for Ukraine’s European integration.
• Expressed support for President Volodymyr Zelensky’s Peace Formula.
• Emphasized the importance of Slovakia’s participation in Ukraine’s recovery.
• Confirmed the importance of Slovakia’s participation in humanitarian demining in Ukraine.
• Highlighted the importance of joint efforts to ensure global food security, increase transit potential for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products, and underscored the importance of developing military-technical cooperation on a commercial basis.
