100,000 food parcels of long-term storage products were prepared by the Kyiv Humanitarian Headquarters for internally displaced persons. Mykola Povoroznyk, the first deputy chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration, stated this, the Kyiv City State Administration website writes.
“There are more than 100,000 internally displaced persons in the capital. That is why we have prepared a sufficient number of food parcels, which will be enough for all internally displaced persons registered in the capital. In the event of an increase in the number of registered IDPs in the capital, we are ready to prepare additional food parcels in the required quantity as soon as possible. In addition, we do not limit the registration of IDPs to receive these food parcels by any time frame, and, according to our calculations, it will last at least until the end of October, which is why there is no need to form long queues at administrative services centers- there will be enough products for everyone,” Povoroznyk said.
He also reminded that 110 specialists work in 11 Centers, who issue vouchers for receiving food patcels.
“Internally displaced persons need to come to one of the administrative services centers in Kyiv with a passport and a certificate of registration as an IDP, a certificate of assignment of a registration number of a taxpayer’s registration card and receive a coupon that gives the right to receive aid from the capital in city local centers. To do this, it is necessary to obtain an electronic queue number at the reception of the administrative services centers and receive a ticket.
In order not to stand in queue, you can make an appointment at the Administrative Services Center through the city application “Kyiv Digital” or through the Portal for the provision of administrative services and arrive at the specified time. After receiving the coupon, within 45 days, internally displaced persons can pick up their food parcel at any of the 33 distribution points. The list of all addresses is indicated on the reverse side of the coupon itself,” Povoroznyk reminded.
As we wrote, IDPs will receive help from the Humanitarian Headquarters of Kyiv.
