On July 27 the stream performance “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” based on Shakespeare’s play created by Ukrainian actors with the support of the British theater will be held

On Wednesday, July 27, and August 7, at 9:00 p.m. (Kyiv time), the stream performance “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” based on the play by William Shakespeare will take place. This is reported by the Department of Culture.

The event is supported by the British theater “Butterfly”.

The play was created by Ukrainian actors and directors who are currently in different cities and countries. The event takes place in an unusual format – actors play live from different parts of the world online.

In particular, the actors of the Kyiv Academic Theater “Koleso” are involved in the performance.

The duration of the stream performance is 90 minutes. The performance will be broadcast in Ukrainian with English subtitles.

The director of the performance is Maria Hrunicheva (Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria), the choreographer is Hanna Lysenko.

The play features: Stanislav Kolokolnikov (Kyiv, Ukraine), Iryna Melnyk (Paris, France), Alla Nesterova (Odesa, Ukraine), Yuris Tete (Kyiv, Ukraine), Slava Krasovska (Kyiv, Ukraine), Oleksiy Tytarenko (Rivne, Ukraine), Serhiy Zolochevskyi (Kyiv, Ukraine), Olena Tertychna (Kyiv, Ukraine), Mykhailo Yelchev (Uzhhorod, Ukraine), Andre Skeira (Stockholm, Sweden), Anastasia Kasilova (Berlin, Germany) and others.
