A wooden birdhouse was installed on the lake in the Holosivsky Park

The television crew of the “Kyiv” TV Channel visited the place.

Similar initiatives have already been implemented in Vidradny Park, Lebedyne Lake and Nyvky Park.

According to the director of “Kyivzelenbud” Oleksiy Korol, it is important to take care not only of green areas, but also of the fauna of the park, which is a part of a large park complex.

“This idea was suggested by the public, because it is very important not only to take care of green areas, but also of fauna, which is a part of a large park complex,” the official said.

Ornithologists emphasize that birds should not be fed bakery products, stale vegetables and fruits, because the birds can die. Is better to bring grain, oats, and fresh chopped vegetables. You should not throw food into the water: it is better to leave it on the shore or sail to the birdhouse on a catamaran and leave the food in it.
