This was reported by the State Agency for Cinema.
“The story will be seen in South Korea and Japan…the distribution team has sold the rights to screen Akhtem Seitablaiev’s film ‘Myrnyi-21’ in these countries”, the statement said.
The film tells the story of the “green berets” of Luhansk, who were the first to defend Ukraine in 2014. The film was created by ISTMEN FILMS with the support of the State Film Agency and UA Production.
As previously reported, the Ukrainian animated film “Mavka” became the leader in views on the first day of release in France, even surpassing the Hollywood film “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” in the number of views with 41,900 views. It is noted that in the French translation, the film is called Le Royaume de Naya (“The Kingdom of Naya”). The film is based on the play by Ukrainian writer Lesya Ukrainka.
