This was announced by the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko on the air on the “Kyiv” TV Channel.
According to him, many suggestions have been received from the residents regarding what to place on the Lenin monument that was toppled back in 2014.
“That place is cursed. There was a monument to Nicholai, one of the tsars, Rasputin, then there was a gallows there in the 1940s. A place with negative energy. Then they put Lenin monument there. I gave a proposal to people with special education to make a fountain there, a beautiful ancient fountain, so that the water would wash away the negative energy there,” Klitschko said.
He added that the issue of transporting the monuments of authoritarianism is currently being resolved, because the structure there is very complex. Because of this, the issue of how to transport the monuments and not damage them is solved. Klitschko explained that the Shchors monument will be moved to the museum of monuments of authoritarianism.
