A member of the Ukrainian parliament called on countries in the Black Sea basin to ensure the safety of navigation

This was stated by Ukrainian Member of Parliament, Dmytro Solomchuk, in an interview with KYIV24.

“The Black Sea is not owned by Russia. They have the Volga, Baikal, and can sail there. However, the Black Sea belongs to many countries, and each country must ensure safety in its waters. This responsibility includes Turkey and Bulgaria. Therefore, everyone should be fully engaged in guaranteeing safe navigation in the Black Sea”, – he said.

As a reminder, Ukraine has decided to establish a temporary route to continue grain exports via the Black Sea after Russia’s withdrawal from the “grain agreement”.

In the strategic communications department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it was stated that Ukraine will continue to supply grain to countries, despite Russia’s withdrawal from the “grain agreement”.
