Oleksiy Kuleba, the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, announced this.
According to him, Kyiv region became one of the force migrant’s reception centers after liberation. Almost 300,000 internally displaced persons are registered in the region.
These are mostly residents from Luhansk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
There are 73 thousand forced migrants were registered on the territory of the region before the ‘full-scale’ war. In most cases forced migrants live in their relative’s apartment, or rent apartments.
Therefore, we are deploying modular temporary towns in the region. Temporary towns are already functioning in Borodyanka and Bucha. It is planned to develop modular towns in Zagaltsy, Hostomel, Moschun, Makariv and Irpen”, – Kuleba noted.
