In 1996, Andriy Pyshnyy graduated from Chernivtsi State University, with a law degree. In 2005, he graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine. In 2000, Pyshnyy began his career at Oschadbank – first as head of the legal department, later as first deputy chairman of the board and acting chairman of the board. From March 2014 to November 2020, Pyshnyy was the chairman of the Board of JSC Oschadbank.
Andriy Pyshnyy is a member of the Yermak-McFaul International Expert Group on sanctions against Russia.
