This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
The UAVs were launched from three directions: Chauda – the occupied Crimea, Prymorsko-Akhtarsk, and Kursk – Russia.
A total of 35 Shahed-136/131 launches were recorded, attacking in waves at different times, between 8:00 PM on December 20 and 3:30 AM on December 21.
Tactical aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the aerial attack.
On various fronts, Ukrainian defenders successfully shot down 34 out of the 35 enemy combat UAVs launched. The anti-aircraft defense was active in the Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kherson, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy, Poltava, Chernihiv, and Kirovohrad regions.
