The message noted that educational institutions were inspected in the capital in preparation for the new academic year.
“This year, 1,252 educational institutions are preparing for the new academic year under martial law. The total number of urban programs that were planned to be financed was cut in half. At the same time, all programs aimed at the children and teachers’ safety, including the arrangement of shelters, and ensuring fire safety, have been preserved in full. Currently, work on these programs is ongoing and will be completed on time. By the beginning of the school year, absolutely all educational institutions should be prepared” the director of the Department of Education and Science of the Kyiv City State Administration Olena Fidanyan said.
She added that all parents will be able to choose any form of education for their children in educational institutions and, if necessary, change the form of education during the school year.
