This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhny.
“A total of 30 cruise missiles were launched from sea, air, and land-based platforms. From strategic aviation aircraft, including two Tu-160 and eight Tu-95, 22 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles were launched. From ships in the Black Sea, six Kalibr cruise missiles were launched. Additionally, two Iskander-K cruise missiles were launched from ground-based operational-tactical missile complexes”, the statement said.
Two Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs and two operational-tactical level reconnaissance UAVs were also shot down.
All Russian objects over Kyiv were shot down. As a result of the missile intercepts over Kyiv, debris fell in the Darnytskyi and Desnianskyi districts. The city authorities also reported no civilian casualties.
