Russia has already released over 2,000 “Shahed” armed UAVs against Ukraine. It was noted that the first Iranian drone was shot down by the Ukrainian Armed Forces exactly one year ago, on September 13, 2022. This means that on average, occupiers have been launching 5.5 “Shahed” drones per day against Ukraine this year.
It is known that the total cost of these kamikaze drones ranges from $40 to $100 million, which is equivalent to the average pension for 200,000 to 500,000 Russians, depending on different estimates.
Recall that on the night of September 13, Ukrainian air defense systems shot down 32 kamikaze drones over the Odessa region. Hits were made on port infrastructure, resulting in damage to non-residential buildings and ignition of cargo transport in the parking area.
