Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaschak visited Irpin

Irpin City Council reported.

The report noted that the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Poland, Mariusz Blaszczak, visited Irpin. During the meeting, Oleksandr Markushyn showed the minister the destroyed residential buildings of the city and told how Irpin was at the epicenter of heavy fighting and became an outpost on the way of the invaders to Kyiv.

In addition, the Mayor of Irpin thanked Poland for its partnership and unity in our country’s fight against the Russian aggressor.

The total amount of Polish military aid to Ukraine already exceeds 700 million dollars. These are Polish portable anti-aircraft systems Piorun and Krab gun-howitzers and about 250 tanks.

Mariusz Blaszczak held a meeting with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
