CHELM, POLAND - NOVEMBER 21: A procession of trucks form an ongoing blockade in protest as Polish truck drivers continue to demonstrate at the Dorohusk Polish-Ukrainian border crossing onNovember 21, 2023 in Chelm, Poland. Since November 6, a new front in tensions between the neighbouring countries has emerged after the grain dispute: a dozen truck companies have blocked the Polish-Ukrainian border as they demand the European Union to restore the rules and the permit system for crossing into Poland. According to Polish drivers, they cannot compete against Ukrainian drivers. They are paid less and truck maintenance is also less expensive on the other side of the border. At this moment, the three main border crossings are blocked, allowing just one truck per hour with exception of humanitarian and military aid. It is planned to extend the blockade on coming Thursday, to the crossing Medyka, where the waiting time already passes 100 hours. (Photo by Omar Marques/Getty Images)
