This was disclosed by the spokesperson of the National Guard of Ukraine, Ruslan Muzichuk, in an interview with KYIV24.
“Our units operating on the southern front have also observed that the enemy sometimes attempted to regain lost ground. In total, if we summarize the results for the day, there were 123 attacks on the positions of the National Guard from the enemy on the eastern sections of the front and 82 on the southern. It should be noted that our fighters indeed report an increased enemy activity in the use of drones. These are FPV drones and drones that the enemy uses to drop ammunition. Throughout the front line, about 70 strikes on National Guard positions with drones of various types were recorded during the day. And, of course, it should be noted that on our side, there is also a struggle to destroy enemy equipment, weapons, and ammunition. Specifically regarding the enemy’s use of drones, it involves detecting and destroying the enemy’s radio electronic reconnaissance and electronic warfare means”, he explained.
