In the city of Kherson, Russian security forces detained a man and a woman; their whereabouts are still unknown.
Ukrainian police have also caught a collaborator who voluntarily assumed the position of the “head of the district military-civilian administration”. The man took part in the Together With Russia forum, during which he publicly called on local residents to take part in the illegal “referendum” [which is being organised by Russia – ed.] the goal of which was to merge the Russian-occupied territory of Kherson Oblast with the Russian Federation. The man was waving a red flag, a replica of the USSR flag.
Previously: On 30 August, local media reported that a large queue of trucks loaded with products stolen from Ukraine had formed as the Russian occupiers stole this year’s harvest from the occupied territories in southern Ukraine.
In March, during the temporary occupation of Kyiv Oblast, Russian forces similarly looted the homes of Ukrainian citizens.
