Russian “Shahed” Drone Explodes Again on Romanian Territory

This was reported by the Ministry of National Defence of Romania (MApN).

From Wednesday to Thursday, December 13-14, Russian forces continued drone attacks on Ukrainian port infrastructure near the border between Ukraine and Romania. The radar surveillance system of the Romanian army detected a possible unauthorized entry into national airspace, with the signal located at low altitude on the way to the area near the village of Grindu in Tulcea County.

At the incident site in Romania, a crater 1.5 meters deep formed. The Romanian Ministry of Defence strongly condemned Russia’s attacks on civilian infrastructure in Ukrainian ports on the Danube.

A month ago, a Russian attack drone crashed on the right bank of the Zhezhia River on Romanian territory.

Recall that on the night of December 13-14, air defense forces shot down 32 drones over Odesa.
