This was reported by Petro Andriushchenko, an advisor to the mayor of Mariupol.
“The Russians continue to repair the fortifications of Azovstal from the central checkpoints and further into the depth, turning it all into a military base”, he wrote in a Telegram channel, accompanied by a video.
Andriushchenko noted that Mariupol holds no value for the occupiers other than being a military base.
As previously reported, the occupiers are transferring armored vehicles through Mariupol. According to Andriushchenko, the intensity of Russian military equipment movement through the temporarily occupied city is constantly increasing.
