This was stated in a declaration by the Center for National Resistance.
According to the CNR, the Russian Ministry of Defense continues to involve civilians in military operations. It is known that I Fly Airlines operates special flights from Novosibirsk to Rostov, transporting occupiers, who are then transferred to Ukraine.
‘The Ministry of Defense systematically uses civilian airlines, subsidizing them. After the imposition of a series of sanctions, Russian airlines suffered significant financial losses’, the statement reads.
Owners of airlines with Kremlin ties receive orders from the Russian Ministry of Defense in an attempt to earn something. The CNR notes that the owner of I Fly Airlines is Alexander Burtin, who is also a co-founder and co-owner of the Russian tour company Tez Tour. The airline’s CEO is Kirill Romanovsky.
