The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in its morning briefing on May 15th.
Over the past day, the occupiers have launched 11 missile strikes, including on the cities of Kharkiv, Kostiantynivka, and the town of Zolochiv.
Additionally, they have carried out 41 air strikes and 74 shelling attacks with rocket artillery on the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian areas. Civilians have been injured, private homes and other civilian infrastructure have been destroyed or damaged. The likelihood of missile and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
The occupiers continue to concentrate their main efforts on the Lymanske, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka sectors, where 46 clashes have taken place. Bakhmut and Mariinka remain at the epicenter of the fighting.
In the occupied territories of the Kherson region, the Russians are also detaining men who have previously refused Ukrainian citizenship in favor of Russian citizenship. They are offered to pay a ransom, and those who do not have the means or do not want to pay bribes are forcibly mobilized.
“The enemy continues to try to replenish losses in manpower by forcibly mobilizing people on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. In a number of settlements in the Kherson region, there are cases of men being forcibly detained who have previously refused Ukrainian citizenship in favor of Russian citizenship”, the report said.
