Russians have targeted a solar power plant in the rear area of Ukraine

This was reported by the Chairman of the Board of Ukrenergo, Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, during a press conference at the Ukraine-Ukrinform Media Center.

“Yesterday, the enemy deliberately attacked a solar power plant. This is the first, at least to my memory, case of a deliberate attack on a renewable energy facility”, Kudrytskyi said.

He clarified that this is not an attack within the combat zone but specifically aimed at the rear solar power plant. He also mentioned that this is the first case he remembers of a targeted attack by Russia on a renewable energy facility.
