This information was provided by the Chief of the Kyiv Military-Civilian Administration, Sergiy Popko.
The air defense forces detected and destroyed almost eighteen aerial targets on the approach to Kyiv using anti-aircraft means and systems.
According to Popko, this UAV attack on Kyiv became the eighth in a row and, like the one last night, was large-scale. Preliminarily, there were no casualties or damage reported in the capital. It is noted that the nighttime air alarm in Kyiv lasted for exactly 3 hours and became the 820th since the start of the full-scale invasion.
Recall that on the night of August 2, the occupiers attacked Kyiv with “shaheed” drones, causing damage in three areas of the capital. As it became known, the Ukrainian air defense forces shot down all the “shaheed” drones launched by Russia at Kyiv last night.
