Dmytro Chubenko, the spokesperson for the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, made this statement.
According to him, the occupiers attacked the Osnovianskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of the city.
One of the strikes led to a car service station catching fire, with garages and vehicles ablaze. A two-story building nearby was partially destroyed. It was not used for residential purposes, but it had sleeping accommodations inside for people who had fled from the territories occupied by Russia.
It is reported that rescuers are currently clearing the debris. Information about casualties has not been received at this time.
In response to the attack, the prosecutor’s office has initiated a criminal investigation under Article 438, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the laws and customs of war).
