This was stated on the air of KYIV24 by diplomat Alexander Levchenko.
“The Russian Black Sea Fleet is stationed in the Black Sea, armed and with political statements from Moscow about torpedoing ships heading to or departing from Ukrainian ports”, he said.
According to the expert, any ships will be considered as carrying military cargoes. This poses a serious danger to these vessels. Therefore, military convoys are needed to escort these ships. However, there is currently no agreement reached on this matter. No one wants to engage in direct armed conflict with Russia.
According to Alexander Levchenko, the negotiation bar has already been set high.
As previously reported, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan plans to discuss with Russian President Vladimir Putin the extension of the so-called “grain deal”.
