The minister noted that Slovakia had approved “a couple of thousand missiles used for MiG-29” on December 7. He also said that he had discussed the issue of aircraft supply with the President of Ukraine during the meeting.
“I and President Zelensky also discussed this in quite a detail. And I think I have to keep a secret about how it will be done so as not to jeopardize it. But I will say that today we had a very, very good exchange of views with President Zelensky about how we will do it. So I am very optimistic, I think it will also be done soon, aircraft will arrive in Ukraine,” Káčer added.
As reported, Prime Minister of Slovakia Eduard Heger said in July that Slovakia planned to transfer MiG-29 fighters and tanks to Ukraine.
