“The situation with the power supply remains critical. After the recent attacks by drones and missiles, the restoration of the power supply continues. I would like to emphasize that the complexity and duration of repair work increases with each enemy shelling. As a result of large-scale damage to the energy infrastructure, Ukrenergo applies emergency power shutdowns. Some 80% of the region is without electricity. The most difficult situation is in the Bucha, Vyshgorod, Obukhiv districts, and partly in the Fastiv district. These are more than 30 communities,” Kuleba wrote.
He noted that critical infrastructure – hospitals, heat and water supply facilities – is a priority for electricity supply.
