The Kyiv City State Administration reminding the Kyiv citizens about the ban on moving around the city during the curfew, which lasts from 11:00 p.m. to 05:00 a.m. The curfew is used by law enforcement agencies, the military, and special units to carry out counter-sabotage and anti-terrorist measures, so violators endanger themselves and other citizens, Mykola Povoroznyk, the first deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration emphasized.
“I appeal once again to all citizens: do not expose yourself to danger during the curfew – from 11:00 p.m. to 05:00 a.m. During this time, it is forbidden to go outside. Also, during curfew hours, light masking should be observed. You can go out only during an air siren- to get to the nearest shelter. Be sure to have identity documents with you,” Povoroznyk reminded.
He added that Kyiv continues to live under martial law. The Kyiv metro operates from 06:00 to 22:00, public transport – from 06:00 to 22:30.
“I call on the citizens of Kyiv to take a responsible approach to the requirements and restrictions of martial law. Plan your return home in advance. I remind the drivers to follow the Traffic Rules and the speed limit. Ignoring of these simple things puts you and others at risk. And you also create conflict situations with the security and defense forces of the city, which can distract them from performing important mission. So please be aware take care. We will win together,” Povoroznyk said.
